TRU•CLOSE safety gate hinges are molded from
special glass-fiber reinforced polymer materials.
These UV-stabilized materials provide strong, rust-free hinges that won’t bind, sag or stain! And they never require lubrication.

The unique, spring-loaded adjustor within most TRU•CLOSE hinges allows instant incremental tension adjustment using only a screwdriver. Quick, easy and safe! Gates of different sizes and weights incur different loads, so the ability to adjust tension quickly is critical, especially in child safety areas.

TRU•CLOSE hinges come in ‘Regular’ and ‘Heavy
Duty’ models to fit most gate sizes and all gate materials.

MULTI•FIT gate hinges are strong, molded (rust-free) hinges designed to fit most light house and garden gates. Importantly, they are inexpensive hinges that overcome the traditional gate hinge problems of rust, wear, binding, sag and staining.
All closing springs are made from either high-grade stainless steel or silicone-chrome wire.

The three models are the MFS (self-closing, fixed tension), the MFA (self-closing, adjustable) and the MFP (plain, pivoting hinge). The MFA is suited to lightweight gates up to 26lb (12kg), while the MFP and MFS models are suited to heavier gates up to 45lb (20kg).

The "multi-fit legs" on each hinge model offer three benefits: 1) quick and easy alignment of the hinges on gates and posts; 2) the extra strength of multiple face-fixing (i.e. fit to two sides of gate and fence post); 3) two-way post fitting: flat, flush fixing (180º) or double face fixing (90º).
